Chassis Mounted Splitter MK3 TTRS (2018-2021) - V2
529Innovations has partnered with CJM Industries to bring a chassis mounted splitter to market for the 8S Audi TTRS platform (8V.2 RS3 coming soon).
The version 2 chassis mounted splitter is a balance between track and show cars looking for something more durable than a bumper mounted lip, and provides actual downforce. We have designed a system that allows for blade AOA adjustment with the splitter on the car and the bumper can be removed or installed with the splitter installed. The endplates are optional, if you prefer a cleaner look.
For a reference purposes, this blade was CFD tested at 100mph on a full scale model. When set at at 0 AOA the blade itself produced 50lb of downforce at 100mph. On track testing on similar platforms has shown that increacing the AOA and/or adding additional Aero elements (side planes, fender splats etc) improves the efficiency significantly.

We are providing this data point as a reference to help aid in balancing with a wing. Other aero devices above the splitter could affect these results and Aero parts should be added one at a time to better understand what each part is contributing. Adding a properly sized hood vent, canards or larger endplates could increase the downforce potential of this splitter.

INSTALL NOTES: Please read these product details thoroughly for fitment and installation requirements. The install process is outlined here.
Install requires trimming the bottom edge of the bumper cover. This is an unpainted portion of the bumper, and not visible while the car is on the ground if you remove the splitter.
Install requires a riv-nut tool (not included).
Install requires a 13.5 mm drill bit (included).
If you are on air ride, do not air-out onto these brackets, they are not designed to support the weight of an entire vehicle.

Bracket set - top, bottom, and center with pre-installed hex shank riv-nuts
Strake set
4 adjustable rods
Flange head bolts and nylock hardware
Countersunk hardware to attach a blade to brackets (3/8" or thinner blade)
Blade - 9mm thick - black textured UV resistant plastic with a radiused edge and pre-drilled countersunk holes
